Once upon a time, there lived a couple and their children. One day, the father asked his seven sons to collect water but they dropped the jug into the well. The boys were afraid to go home.
Hours passed. “I wish all the boys were turned into ravens! ”, the father cursed angrily.’ Suddenly, he saw seven ravens fiying away. He wanted to take his words back but it was too late.
The little daughter grew up and discoverd the misfortune of her brothers. She decided to look for them. She found their home but to enter, she needed a chicken bone. The girl cut off one of her fingers, opended the door, went inside and saw seven plates and cups on a table. She ate and drank a little from each. She accidentally dropped the memoral ring from her parents in the seventh cup.
Finally, the ravens returned home. The girl quickly hid. When the seventh raven looked into his cup, he recognized his parents’ ring. “I wish our sister were here,” he said, “we would be set free.” The girl heard that and ran to her brothers. Suddenly, the ravens became human again. They hugged and went home together happily.
